How to get to Dubrovnik

Akademis Academia is situated at the very centre of Dubrovnik. Public city transport, main bus station, the port of Dubrovnik and the Walls of Dubrovnik are all in the vicinity.

Arrival by plane
Dubrovnik is most easily accessed by plane. Dubrovnik Airport (DVB) is located near the village of Cilipi, 20 km south of Dubrovnik and has flights arriving from all over Europe. Shuttle Bus from the airport
The most affordable transportation option to get to the city is the Dubrovnik Airport Shuttle Bus. The airport shuttle bus departs frequently, after every scheduled flight. You can check the exact time of departure for the airport bus on the carrier's website: https://platanus.hr/shuttle-bus.
Bus stops from Airport to Dubrovnik:
- Ploče Gate (Old town) – closest stop to the conference location
From here, walk to Pile Gate (5-10 mins). At Pile (old town), take bus no. 1 A direction Mokošica or bus no. 6 direction Babin Kuk and get off on the bus stop Vukovarska. For bus no 4 direction Hotel Palace get off at station Čokolino 1 or Peyton 2. Walk to Akademis Academia, Marka Marojice 2B. - Main bus station in Gruž
The Akademis Academia can be quickly reached by city bus No. 1A direction Pile (old town) from main Bus Station Dubrovnik, from the bus stop called Luka Gruž 4, which is on the main bus station. For Akademis Academia get off on the bus stop called Starčevića 1. Walk to Akademis Academia, Marka Marojice 2B.

Public city bus to and from the airport
You can also reach the town by public bus that have regular departures from the airport (the bus station is on the main road, just outside of the airport parking). The following local buses line drive daily to and from the airport:
- Line Nr. 11, Dubrovnik to Molunat
- Line Nr. 27, Dubrovnik to Vitaljina
It is also possible to take a taxi or Uber from/to the airport.
