Overview
The joint excursion will be for both the participants of the FORECOMON 2026 and the participants of the Task Force Meeting.
The excursion includes:
- Trsteno arboretum guided tour (historical gardens and a collection of Mediterranean and exotic plant species)
- Ston town walls (built by the Dubrovnik Republic, these are the second longest defensive walls in the world and the longest in Europe)
- Saltworks and the museum of salt in Ston (guided tour of the salt production process unchanged for over 700 years)
- Lunch at the local taverna/family farm on the Pelješac peninsula.
